Completely renovated in 2024, upgraded internally and structural modifications have transformed  the lodge, a wooden cabin into  pleasant living accommodation for all year round use.  The lodge is now super insulated together with a modern interior provides for a comfortable stay.  The lodge now includes a fully equipped kitchen and an integrated drying room.  These new upgrades make the cabin an ideal choice for longer stays.  The cabin is well suited to families,  groups or couples that want more space and comfort and offer a good upgrade from a campimg pod a two person cabin.  The lodge crafted from wood, larch, redwood pine provides a back to nature ambience providing a nice antidote to urban living.  The  lodge  offers superior level of comfort with kitchen and indoor dining, en suite shower room with integral drying room.

The lodge makes a perfect base  being centrally located in Snowdonia National Park and at the foot of Mt Snowdon.  Bryn Dinas is only 2.8 miles from the summit of Snowdon.  Being conveniently located close to Snowdon you can chose not to use your car leave driving worries behind.  If you do decide to walk to the summit of Snowdon by one of the other alternative paths either Rhy Du, Rangers,  Miners or Pyg track or Crib Coch  there is a Sherpa bus stop is nearby.  The Sherpa day ticket is an affordable way to travel by public transport in Snowdonia National Park. 

The site is within a few hundred metres from the beginning of the Watkin path.  The nearby waterfalls offer the opportunity to take an early morning dip with all the benefits of cold water bathing has to offer.   If paddling boarding or wild water swimming is something that is of interest to you there are two lakes Llyn Dinas and Llyn Gwynant a short distance away.  The integral drying room is boon  for water sports enthusiasts, fellow kayakers that use a wet suit.    

The cabin is elevated above the Pods providing amazing views across to Cnicht.  The large balcony makes an ideal spot to relax with your morning coffee and take in the setting surrounded by amazing trees which are part of the ancient Celtic forest. 

The family Lodge  sleeps 4 persons with a family bedroom, which contains a double bed and 2 single bunks above.  All beds have feather duvets and bedding together with luxurious  memory foam mattresses  make for a great nights’ sleep so you are refreshed for your next adventure. 

The en suite bathroom enables you to have a hot shower especially after coming down from the hills may be the big one,  mount Snowdon. In the evening  chill out relax and share memories, experiences and photographs in the open plan living / dining / kitchen after a day in the great outdoors of Snowdonia .  Alternatively enjoy some outdoor dining from the balcony  take in the view with a glass of something chilled and a BBQ from the decking.  If you want to go further a field we are only 2.8 miles from Beddgelert which has some nice pubs and restaurants at your disposal.   The Saracens head is dog friendly. 

If you have an extended stay there also laundry facilities on site.

Large Groups

The Dragons Den is directly next door to the Dragons Lair the two cabins  can be booked together to accommodate large families and groups up to 8 people.  Even larger groups can  supplement  booking with camping pods which sleep an additional two persons or Maple lodge which can accommodate additional four persons.
