Welcome to Red Dragon Holidays

Nestled in the Nantgwynant Valley at the base of Snowdon, just a stone’s throw from Beddgelert,  Red Dragon Holidays offers different types of accommodation from traditional Stone Cottages to Camping Pods.

Our aim is to ensure that you have a fantastic holiday in spectacular Snowdonia whilst having a central base to stay in during your time here.

Our properties, set in privately owned mountainside woodland, are only 300 metres from the start of The Watkin Path to the top of Snowdon in between Llyn Dinas and Llyn Gwynant.

An ideal base from which to explore Snowdonia with its spectacular scenery and fascinating mix of mountains, lakes, woodland and streams. Whether it’s a walk & climb up Snowdon, a trip on the Welsh Highland Steam Railway, the adrenaline rush of Zip World or whooshing through Beddgelert forest on a mountain bike, we have accommodation to meet your needs and budget. We pride ourselves on being dog friendly meaning your 4 legged friends can join in the fun too!

Beddgelert, famous for its legend of Prince Llewellyn and his dog Gelert, has numerous pubs and eateries, a fab ice cream shop, pizza café, gift shops and village shop/post office.  A walk along the river Glaslyn, to Gelerts Grave followed by an ice cream or a coffee and cake are a must during your stay.
